cool. I tried to help one kid who was SUPER SERIOUS about his 'Concepts' and he went ballistic when I mentioned that he couldn't actually fit people in the scratchy cartoon he'd drawn.

Seriously, I am happy to help anyone who wants to do well. I don't want to sound like gandalf, but I've been through waaaaaaaay more than most, here. And, y'know, I actually have some design cred.

First off, if you want to be a designer, you're going to have to work on new media, and your fundamentals. Your perspective skills are off. Need a lot of work. And as for media, start working with black ballpoints. Erasing is a BIG no no. You can use whatever papers you want, but you can never erase. This is important.

Pencils, if you choose to use them, should be fatty prismas.

Don't use a single marker or chalk until you've nailed a sketch with just a black Bic.

Oh, I know my perspective is off. You'll know when I'm serious about a drawing. That one probably took me 15 minutes start to finish. Ive done plenty of drawings where I actually tried to get my perspective down, like this one:

This was just to pass the time, if i really was to try on it, it would be much better. I really wasnt trying on the alfa.
